New Modalities
Audio:
Text-to-Speech and Speech-to-Text: Interact with DecentAI using just your voice – speak your queries and listen to the AI's responses, offering a more natural, hands-free experience.
Generating sounds, songs, ambience: Whether in support of other modalities (such as adding a soundtrack or effects to other output) or direct audio creation, imagine routing to the best audio generation model to handle your task.
Animation and Video:
Text-to-motion: Open source animation and video generation models are improving rapidly, and as they do, we expect to integrate them with DecentAI.
Multi-Modal Models:
Combining Modalities: Leveraging advanced models with multi-modal support and augmenting them with our Smart Router, we're excited about the possibility of integrating text with visual elements, enabling richer, more interactive AI experiences.
Enhanced Routing
Expanded Model Integration:
Incorporating Diverse Models: We plan to broaden the scope and capabilities of our AI responses by adding many more proprietary models (like Google’s Gemini), open-source models (such as Star Coder), and our own fine-tuned models for specific tasks. We believe one model will not meet all needs, but rather an aggregated collection of models with intelligent usage will be most effective and efficient.
Intelligent Routing:
User Intents and Domains: Future iterations aim to detect specific user intents (coding, chit-chat, role-play, Q&A) and domains (legal, medical, technical), directing queries to the most apt models for nuanced and accurate responses.
Personalized AI Agents
Customization and Trade:
Users can look forward to creating and interacting with their own unique AI agents. These personalized agents could potentially be minted and traded as NFTs, opening up a new dimension in the AI and digital collectibles space.
Knowledge Bases:
We already enable data uploads for DecentAI itself and support Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), but there are data privacy issues to address before we can broadly support this for personalized DecentAIs. The promise of teaching and training an AI with specialized knowledge, and then monetizing that knowledge via NFT access, is an exciting challenge.
AI Triggers and Jobs
Automated Updates and Alerts:
Beyond simple chat-like experiences, We're exploring features where DecentAI could proactively send messages based on user-defined triggers, such as delivering news reports at specified times or alerting users to specific events.
Multi-User and Multi-Agent Interactions
Group Conversations:
A future update may enable group chats involving multiple users and multiple AI agents, facilitating collaborative discussions and interactive sessions across diverse groups.
In-App Credit System
Model and Feature Access:
Once beyond the experimental phase, we may consider a decentralized in-app payment system.
We are also considering an incentive system in which users are rewarded when using and improving/teaching DecentAI.
Enhanced XMTP Experience
Improving Decentralized Messaging:
We expect to further refine the XMTP experience to ensure seamless and secure decentralized messaging access to DecentAI. You should not have to use any one app -- including ours.
